David S Cowen wrote this story,
Reynoldsburg man returns from UN mission to Haiti. It's about Scott Mckinley, a lieutenant in the Reynoldsburg Police Department serving as a senior U.S. military observer and maritime adviser for the United Nations. Well, I have to disagree with Scott Mckinley on the following remark:
"the smell -- as you approach Haiti from the air or sea, you can start to smell the country from about 10 miles out,"
I'm not sure exactly what kind of smell you're referring too, but I was in Port-au-Prince, Haiti about 5 weeks ago and I didn't get a similar smell. Anyways Mr. Mckinley, thanks for your time and services.
